ANNIKA SORENSTAM:  Golf Great – Author – Broadcaster - Entrepreneur – Mother    

Annika Sorenstam is all of the above.  Often regarded as the best of all-time, the Hall of Famer has 89 worldwide professional victories to her name, including 72 LPGA wins, ten of which are Major Championships. Upon her retirement in 2008, she has focused on family life as well as building the ANNIKA brand which includes the ANNIKA Academy, ANNIKA Financial Group, ANNIKA Course Design, the ANNIKA Collection of apparel with Cutter & Buck, signature high-end wines with Wente Vineyards and an online retail shop, shopannika.com.

As for charitable endeavors, she established the ANNIKA Foundation in 2007 which aims to teach children the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition, and offers aspiring junior golfers opportunities to pursue their dreams.

In 2009, along with Jack Nicklaus, Annika was named a Global Ambassador by the International Golf Federation and aided in the successful bid for golf in the 2016 Olympic Games. She will serve as a vice-captain for The 2011 European Solheim Cup Team in Ireland this September.

Most recently, Annika has committed to a series of webcasts to offer golf tips and discuss her current projects with her large fan base.  Taking place every four to six weeks, the webcasts will each cover a different subject of discussion based on the ANNIKA brand of businesses. Topics will include golf tips and club fitting from the ANNIKA Academy; fitness and nutrition with the ANNIKA Foundation; course design; and her other business ventures. Annika will be joined by a different member of her team that will offer their expertise and share tips and stories. 

Annika can also be heard every Thursday on The Golf Channel’s Morning Drive, where she is a weekly contributor.  She is active on Twitter and writes a blog which can be found on her website.
