IMG Clients Nominated for 2012 ESPY Awards

The 2012 ESPY Awards ceremony will be broadcast LIVE on ESPN/ESPNHD, Wednesday, July 11th at 9 p.m. ET from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Each year, the ESPYS gather top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports by recognizing major sports achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances. This year marks the show’s 20th telecast. The following IMG clients are nominated for ESPYS:
Tom Coughlin: New York Giants: Best Coach
Luke Donald: Best Golfer
Eli Manning: Best Championship Performance
Rafael Nadal: Best Male Tennis Player
Maria Sharapova: Best Female Tennis Player, Best Comeback Athlete & Best Female Athlete
Matthew Stafford: Best Comeback Athlete
Lindsey Vonn: Best Female Athlete
In addition, IMG client, Eric LeGrand will be honored at The 2012 ESPY Awards where he will be presented with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award.
